Oh, LeBron...

Let me start by saying that I’m not a fan of the NBA, until play off time. I don’t watch it regularly unless Sam is watching it in the same room. But I’m sure everyone knows about the drama LeBron James encountered last summer when he announced his big decision to leave Cleavland and take his talents to South Beach. Needless to say, Cleavland was in an uproar. Even the owner of the Cavs was sooo highly upset that he thought it was appropriate to write a letter to LeBron and published it online saying something along the lines of, “we’ll get a ring before you do” and “you’re cursed with bad luck.” And so on and so forth.

So here’s where it gets kinda funny. The Cavs record this season is 8-30, while the Heat’s record is 30-9. Isn’t that a shame? But wait! This is even more hilarious!.. The Cavs played the Lakers last night and the final score was 112-57! So awful!.. After the game LeBron tweeted, “Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!”

Although, it wasn’t very classy for him to say anything, I’m overjoyed that he did. He’s completely right and the way the entire state of Ohio treats this man when he comes in town to play is PATHETIC. I don’t know how long Cleavland expected him to stay there with out any help. How long would have been a sufficient amount of time? A decade? 15 years? Hopefully last nights Cav’s game will make a lot of Ohioans a Heat fan, or at least give LeBron the respect he deserves.

Ok, enough sports talk.. This is weird… HAHA!

[Funny Things That Happen During Sex]

**Describe your funniest sexual encounters with a loved one, one night stand, or wild fling.**

My embarrassing story begins about a month after moving to New Jersey. I was finally getting use to all of Sam’s friends and family, and finally starting to feel comfortable around them. I knew who I could joke around with and how to joke around with them and I knew who I had to be serious with. Sam’s cousin John was an exception to everything though. This guy is hilarious, wacky, and out of his mind! I could joke around with him, we could have serious conversations, it just didn’t matter. John is one of Sam’s best friends so I knew that it was important that I got along with him, which definitely wasn’t a problem.

One day, Sam and I were getting a little freaky and decided to try something new. For some ridiculous reason, I wanted to be tied up. We kinda looked around the room and we ended up having small bungee cords in the closet. I didn’t care what it was at the time. I was extremely turned on and just wanted to get on with it. Not to get into too much detail, we were in the middle of everything. I was under Sam and I had my hands tied to the headboard above my head and it was crazy and kinky and amazing to say the least.

All of a sudden we hear the front door open and close and we hear John walking through the living room singing some song and we stopped and laid still for about 3 seconds like “holy shit, this is not happening right now”. Sam hurries up and gets up to cover himself but he forgets that I’m completely tied up, and not to mention completely naked. John starts to open the door while Sam throws the comforter on top of me and screams, “wait a second, don’t open the d…”

It was too late… the door is now wide open and John sees me on the bed with my hands tied to the headboard and Sam, covering his private parts with a pair of basketball shorts. John’s face was indescribable and for a few seconds he didn’t move and couldn’t take his eyes away. Then, out of nowhere, he turns away and slams the door shut. Starts apologizing like a psycho and tells us that he should have called and that he’s going to drive around the block.

My face is bright red by now and Sam had finally gotten around to untying me. I grabbed some clothes, put them on, and ran to the bathroom laughing. I was talking to John through the bathroom door and letting him know that it’s fine and that he didn’t have to leave cuz after that, I didn’t have anything to finish.

So, that my friends, is definitely one of my most embarrassing sexual experiences -__-

Changes are on the way!

Before I tell you about the awesome changes coming to my blog, I want to thank all of my readers for the support, comments, and follows you've given me since I've started this blog back in 2008. Whether you found me blog through someone else or just stumbled upon it, I thank you.

Within the next week I'll be changing the layout a little bit and adding some pretty cool posts. I was thinking about moving to wordpress and abandoning blogspot, but I figured I'd just spruce up this site a little bit and continue on with familiar territory.

I'll be doing more vlogs, but vlogs that are actually about something and not just me mumbling and ranting and what not. There will be a weekly movie review and that's where I need your help. I need you guys to recommend me some movies that you've recently seen or movies that are older but are some of your favorites. I'll be doing a post called "Teach Your Followers" where I'll pick something that I believe I'm good at and teach you how to do it. And no, it probably won't be the traditional make up or hair tutorial or anything. There will be weekly question blogs where I'll be asking you guys questions or the other way around. Just a little change everywhere!

The Big Split

A friend of Sam's, who has recently become a friend of mine, is going through a divorce. She was married to her soon to be ex-husband for about 2 years. I'm not sure of the details of everything but they tried going to counseling and tried some time apart but have decided that it's just not going to work. I was talking to her last night along with Sam's cousin who was telling us how much he loves his girlfriend and how he's pretty sure that they'll end up getting married one day. It kinda made me think of how fast and unprepared I was when getting married.

Yeah, Sam and I knew each other for a little over a year before we officially tied the knot but I didn't know everything about him and I feel that it's sooo important to put yourself out on the table completely before you get married. Talk about everything, even shit that you don't want the other person to know. Talk about bills and credit card debt, talk about medical history, talk about any legal issues, talk about your family, anything and everything! You don't want to surprise your partner with anything this serious cuz you were too scared to tell them before you were married.

Everyone has problems/issues so I feel it's important to share them with the person that you'll be sharing your entire life with.

I'm sure this is common knowledge but I thought I'd just stress this fact considering I was talking about it last night and stuff.

Not Really Cooking But Kindaaaa...

On Friday nights we usually order pizza or get Chinese food. This past Friday I was like, you know what, I can make the pizza myself. (Not really from scratch or anything but you get it)... SO I went to the store and got all the ingredients like the pizza shell, sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. I also got stuff to make a salad.

Sam was SHOCKED that the pizza even came out good and not burnt or under cooked. I'm not even going to lie to you, I was shocked too.

I made some tollhouse cookies today and they came out perfectly, unlike the burnt ones I made two weeks ago :) I think I'm getting use to all this cooking/baking stuff. I'm going to try something new every week I think. Stay tuned for that...

Work Parties and Such

Last night was Sam's office holiday party at a restaurant down the street from us. I know, I know, it's after the holidays and I'm not sure why they call it an office holiday party but whatever. Free beer and pizza and stuff. It was a pretty good time. It was nice to meet all the guys that Sam talks about from work and stuff. We went with Sam's cousin who works with him and his other cousin who is home from school.

After the party we went over to John's cousin's house to chill for a little bit. Played video games, made some music, smoked, ate, and then left LOL. It was a pretty eventful Sunday, considering I never do anything on Sunday nights.

I hope everyone's weekend was tremendous and that the beginning of your week has been glorious!

Christmas Scrapbook :)

I have been scrapbooking a little bit and got finished with my Christmas page :)

If you don't scrapbook I highly encourage you to try it. It's a lot of fun and brings out some very creative ideas. Plus it's pretty cheap to do and keeps you busy when you have nothing better to do.

Hopefully I'll be getting a DSLR for my birthday in a couple months so I can take really awesome pictures for my scrapbook.

I'm Not Sure I Understand

Why would a woman, or a couple for that matter, want to be surprised about the sex of their baby? Don't you want to be prepared for it when it arrives? What are people supposed to get you at your baby shower? Diapers? I just don't get it. I can't imagine being pregnant for a whole 9 months and not know what the sex of the baby is.

This isn't really a random topic. Sam's cousin is pregnant and should be having the baby within the next 2 weeks. Her and her husband have decided to not find out what the sex of their baby will be.

Some one please explain this to me pleaseeee!

Snow, Snow, Go Away!

New Jersey got all this crazy snow last night and we're all stuck in the house! The streets have yet to be plowed and I'm mad. I wanted to go out today. Sam and I went out and played in the snow for awhile, but it's tiring trying to trudge through 2 feet of snow, especially when you have short legs like me. So I'm sitting in the house while Sam plays video games, and I'm bored

I'll be posting pictures and such from Christmas shortly though :) I hope everyone had a great holiday and if you blogged about it, with pictures, post your links in my comments. I'd love to read about it :)

Cupcake Snowmen!

So, this is what the snowmen were supposed to look like....

Yeah, I did think that mine were going to come out that good, but they didn't...

Obviously, the first step was to bake the cupcakes. Not burn them, not under bake them, but bake them just right. I had trouble with cookies earlier in the week. And when I say that I had trouble, I mean, I burnt them.

Then I had all of my ingredients ready. Stick pretzels, marshmallows, chewy candies and what not, frosting, and sprinkles. Target had noooo individual sprinkles so I had to get some chocolate frosting in order to get the sprinkles it came with.

Then, I frosted all of my cupcakes. The vanilla frosting looked sooo pretty cuz I got that canister of frosting instead of the tub of frosting.

After tediously working on these snowmen for about an hour, I was finished with 4 of them. I thought that was good enough considering Sam has 3 nephews and 1 niece. They'd enjoy them.

Some people think that baking and frosting cupcakes is simple, but there were some casualties. Poor guy :(

So that was about it. Just threw some sprinkles on the other ones and called it a day.

BTW,

If you need to frost cupcakes or brownies or something, this is the way to go! They turn out looking so nice. I thought it would be kinda like whipped cream cuz of the can, but it's legit frosting. Very thick.

That's it. If you know me, you know that I can't cook or bake very well, if at all. So I'm pretty proud of myself. Hopefully Sam's nephews and niece like them!

So I was in the checkout line at Target last night and I was overcome by the sheer presence of the woman in front of me. OMG! She was gorgeous. My hands started sweating and I couldn't stop staring. I wish I would have taken a picture but I was busy. It wasn't like I wanted to rip her clothes off and do nasty things to her. It was just that she was so well put together and beautiful, that it was inspiring kind of. It sounds weird, I know.

Oh well. We parted ways and I'll probably never see her again. My lesbian heart is broken - hahaha! Just kidding.

Reevaluating Myself!

A week before Thanksgiving I got myself into some legal trouble. I won't get into it too much but I made some bad decisions and ended up getting pulled over and was charged with a DWI. Yeah, pretty stupid of me, I know. Along with the DWI, I received a few other charges but all of this has really made me reevaluate what I'm doing and the people around me. If it weren't for my husband and my in-laws I don't know how I would have got this far through it.

Being handcuffed, put into a cell, and having to post bail is the most surreal experience I've ever had to go through. Not only is this process embarrassing and difficult, its also extremely expensive. It's a huge mistake that I regret with everything I have and the only positive thing that I can take from it, is that I didn't hurt anyone else or myself. This was the first time I've ever been in trouble with the law. I'd never even been pulled over before so it was pretty fuckin' scary.

All of this is why I really haven't been blogging much lately but I thought I'd kinda share my experience, especially since we're in the midst of the holiday season. I know people who have drinks and are fine to drive and most people know their limit, but take it from me, please don't drink and drive!

Police Academy, here I come...

After Sam went and got his video game I went to Barnes & Noble and got this book. I thought I'd get a little head start on being prepared for my future. I'm extremely serious about becoming a police officer. Sam has a friend who is a cop up in Jersey City. I would absolutely love to work in Jersey City! We're probably hanging out with him this weekend so I'll try and figure out what's going on with what I have to do to apply and take the written exam and stuff. I'm excited!!! Wish me luck!

First and Last Time for EVERYTHING!

Sam and I waited in this long ass line for like 45 minutes for the new Black Ops video game. When we first got there the line was outside but it quickly moved inside where it was hot as hell. I will never wait in a line for a video game again! I told Sam that we will never allow our children to play video games cuz if they do, they'll be addicted like these kids, and Sam for that matter. I thought the line would have been last night at midnight but it looks like a lot of people came after school and work. Shit is BONKERZ!

NEW HAIRCUT!!!

My hair was wayyyy too long and annoying so I decided to get it cut. It use to take me 15-20 minutes just to blow dry and now it takes me like a total of 10 minutes to finish doing my hair all together. It's A-fuckin-mazing..

But the woman that cut my hair had THEE worst manners ever! Didn't ask my name, didn't tell me her name, was cursing in front of everyone in the salon. She was a train wreck and she gave me bangs when I told her not to. Blah! Whatever. I'm just glad that it's cut and I feel a lot better about it.

On a rather good note though, I woke up today feeling a lot better. Although my eyes are still pink and my throat is still scratchy... I didn't wake up miserable.

Today I think I'm going to clean up the bedroom a little bit. Maybe try and disinfect everything. Then, I'm going to do some research on banks. Why, you may ask, am I going to research banks? Because Sam and I closed our account at TD Bank cuz they suck and now I'm thinking about going to Chase or maybe Citi Bank. I'm not sure yet.

Sam doesn't get out of work until 9:30 so I'm stuck here all day alone as usual. Maybe I'll watch a movie or some tv or play some video games. Who knows?!

Update on Oxyelite Pro

Like the idiot that I am, I took my first pill the day before I left on my trip back home. I thought to myself, "Katie, you know you're going to be eating terrible in Pittsburgh, maybe you should wait till you get back to begin taking them again." So I agreed with myself and didn't start really taking them till I got back. The pills made me very jittery and anxious. These are both noted side effects, but I didn't think they'd affect me like that considering I drink soda and caffeine like water. The first few days I was taking them I could handle all of that but when I kept taking them they kinda made my workouts harder to do cuz I was shaking and almost getting nauseous.

I stopped taking them for a weekend when I went to Sam's sister's house, only cuz I forgot them. When I got back I started getting sick so I thought I'd wait till I feel better and ready to start working out again.

They definitely made me lose weight. I was losing a little over a pound every day. They keep you from really getting hungry so you need to make sure that you eat while taking them. The pills also kept me from eating late night snacks and I think that really helped me.

Just thought I'd update on this considering I got a few emails and comments about it.

Rachel's Homecoming!

I loved this little sitting sofa that they were sitting on! It's so cute!

So I did Rachel's hair and make up for the homecoming. We were going like 20 different ways with her hair and then finally didn't have time to do anything crazy, so we went kinda simple. My parents and I went to her friends house where everyone was meeting at to take pictures and it was a nightmare. All of the mothers were like, "look over here baby" "no look over here first" "I said, look over here!" MAD ANNOYING!

After all of that, they went off to the homecoming for a lovely night of dancing and lollygagging. I had the tremendous pleasure of picking them all up at the dance and taking them to Fridays to eat afterwards. I thought they wouldn't take that long so I waited for them. I went driving around a little bit and even went into the bar for a beer. Needless to say the restaurant was packed with teenagers and people trying to watch the college football games. It took them over an hour to get their food and whatever. I tried to be patient and everything cuz I knew that this was their night and everything. After 12 they got back into the car and I was driving them home. They were telling me that there were a ton of house parties and stuff that night which would obviously involve alcohol and drugs. Even though I use to partake in those kinds of activities I've always told Rachel and my youngest sister Nicole to not follow in my footsteps. I was so proud of Rachel for choosing to go to a restaurant instead of a stupid high school party.

We got home and I showed her all of the pictures I took of her and her friends and she loved them and then went to bed.

It was a great trip home but Rachel's homecoming was definitely the highlight for me. I love being a big sister. But sometimes I wish I lived closer so that I could be there for them.

Major Slacker!

I've neglected you all for over a month and I send out my sincerest apologies. I've been traveling a little, trying to get in shape, getting sick, sorting some things out, looking for a job, and scrap booking.

When I say traveling, I mean I went home for 4 or 5 days at the beginning of October. So I suppose that isn't an excuse for not blogging. I went back for my sister Rachel's homecoming. It was a great trip. My mom and I spent all 4 days together without fighting and stuff. That's always a plus. I'll post a blog shortly with pics of the homecoming and stuff.

I've gotten a couple emails and comments about the Oxyelite Pro pills and how they're working. I've stopped taking them for the time being and I'll post an update blog on that as well and let you know why.

I'm getting over a bad cold. My throat is still killing me! It's been like 4 days and it's still not gone! The first 2 days I had a fever, chills, aches, the works! It was terrible. Sam had the cold and he passed it along to yours truly (LUCKY ME!). I'm hoping this sore throat goes away soon though. I can deal with being congested and all that, but pain is not cool!

I'm still currently looking for a job. I've been slacking a little lately and it's not a good look. I'm getting way to comfortable with no job. The thing is that I don't want to go to another job that I know I'm not going to stay at long or not like. What I want to do is become a cop. I'm not really sure of the steps I need to take cuz I've heard mad different things. If anyone knows a cop or is a cop drop me a comment or an email and let me know what my first steps should be! Thank you in advance!

I've been scrap booking a lot! I love doing it. I'm not very good at it but I'm good enough. It gets my mind off stuff and it lets me be a little creative and put things together. I'm a very big hands on type person, so projects are always loved by me.

But anyways.. I'm going to be updating more often. I took some NyQuil about 15 minutes ago and it's starting to kick in!.

I don't really know whats wrong with me lately. I'm in some sort of funk I guess. I'm definitely not myself. I think it has something to do with me not having a job and not really doing anything meaningful anymore. I've been looking for jobs and it's mad stressful because there is no where around here that's hiring.

I've decided that I'm going to take advantage of my long term vacation that I'm on and do something that will better myself. I've written down things that bother me or things that I really want to focus on and over come, or become more knowledgeable on. They really just include things like getting to know myself better, my dreams, my fears, my future plans. My family, my marriage, and this really weird obsession I have that either myself or someone I love is going to die, like an untimely death. It's something that I think about all the time. I dwell on it and I can tell it's not healthy.

So for the next 8 days I'm going to be spending a lot of time with myself. I think its very necessary right now in my life. I need some happy in my life. If that makes any sense. I'm going to try and blog a little bit about it everyday, but we'll see how that goes.

Pregnancy Scare!!!

For the past two weeks I've been freaking out a little bit. My period is mad late and it kinda made me a bit nervous. I dont know why, cuz my period is never on a normal schedule.

Last week I had a dream that Sam and I had a baby. She was a beautiful baby girl. In my dream she was probably like 6-8 months old and she was a gorgeous baby. She was happy and smart and everything I want my future child to be. She even had a a little bow in her hair. In the dream, Sam was trying to take a picture of me and the baby. He was calling her to try and get her attention. He was saying "Sydney, look over here... Sydneyyyy, over here." Then he took the picture and showed it to me and then I woke up.

I never had a dream of me as a mother before. So that kinda freaked me out. Then last night at dinner there was this adorable little baby at the table across from us. Sam and I were talking and then out of no where I hear the babies father call the baby Sydney. I was BUGGING OUT! I told Sam and he was a little uneasy about it considering I told him about my dream. It's not that Sydney is a rare name or anything but it was just a crazy coincidence I guess.

It was enough to make me go crazy later that night. I couldn't sleep. I got in the car at 3:30am and went to Walgreens. It was closed. Went to CVS. It was closed too. Drove passed Wal-Mart. CLOSED! The only place that was open was WaWa and they didn't sell any pregnancy tests. So I went back home and waited until this morning and I went to Target.

I came home alone cuz Sam had to go to work. The first test I tried came up with an error cuz I guess I did it wrong. (Yeah I know, I'm an idiot that doesn't know how to use a pregnancy test). Then I waiting about an hour until I had to pee again and took one... And.....

All I have to say is thank goodness! I'm not going to lie though. There was probably 45 seconds of me thinking what it would be like to have a baby at this time in my life and it made me a little happy. But I know I'm not ready.

But when Sam and I are ready it's going to be great!

So usually I hate Sundays, but I think this one will be good. Sam gets off work at 7 and he's off tomorrow for the first time in like a week! I love spending time with him. Last night we watched Date Night and Cop Out. Date Night was ok, I was expecting it to be good, but it wasn't all that great. Cop Out was funnier than I expected. Tracey Morgan is hilarious!

I have to go grocery shopping but I'm procrastinating. I hate doing grocery shopping on Sundays cuz that's when all the old people do their shopping and they're so slow. But you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I think I'm slowly transitioning into becoming a vegetarian. I've always wanted to do it and it's a goal of mine, but we'll see how that goes.

This is going to be pathetic, but what I'm most proud of this month is being able to do laundry on my own. I wasn't sure if I was ever doing it right or what colors go with what, not to mention the washer is so complicated to use. My short term goals for this month will go as follows:

1. Find a job! - Because I'm going crazy without one. I hate being up in the house all day. It can drive a person insane.

2. Have a really great 1 year anniversary with Sam. - It's hard to believe we've already been married for a year. Marriage is a lot of hard work but I just want this anniversary to be special and romantic. Especially romantic, because neither him or I are very romantic at all.

3. While I'm not working I want to work on being a better housewife. - When Sam would work from home and I'd come home from work the house would be clean and there would be dinner. When he comes home everything is a mess. So I need to work on making things look nice.

Hmmm, the meaning behind my blogger name. When I created this blog I was so confused about what I wanted to do. It was about a month or so before I moved to California and I was really confused about that and also confused about what I was going to do with my relationship with Sam. Not to mention everything that I wanted to accomplish. The end of 2007 into the beginning of 2008 was really crazy for me, but it birthed this blog and the Life of a Confused Young Lady. I think everyone goes through a stage in their lives when they don't know what to do about certain situations and decisions. I'm still not completely through this stage, but I'm working on it.

Well, it's only 9:45 am right now but I'll tell you what I've done already today and what I expect to do this afternoon.

I didn't go to sleep until like 4:30. I was up on tinychat with some goofballs that kept me up. After I got off that I was messing with Sam while he was sleeping. I was lightly running my finger over his face and I found it highly amusing when he'd rub his face to stop the tickling. Then I fell asleep for awhile and woke up at 7 am when Sam got up to get ready for work. Now I'm awake and watching Saved by the Bell and Fresh Prince on TBS. I'll probably fall asleep pretty soon, then get up and get ready to do something with Sam tonight. Hopefully we'll go to the boardwalk or the beach or something. I feel like being around the ocean today.

Five Random Facts:

1. I believe that I'm the perfect mix of girly-girl and tomboy. When I was younger I was a huge tomboy and after I graduated high school I really transformed into a woman, thanks to cosmetology school. So I think I got a good mix going on.

2. I'm madly and deeply in love. I knew that I'd marry my husband as soon as I layed eyes on him. There was never a doubt that I wouldn't spend my life with this man.

3. I really suck at Scrabble. I just downloaded this new game called Words With Friends on my iPod and I'm not sure why they didn't just call it Scrabble. It's not that I have poor vocab, it's just that I can't spell for shit! But I'm working on it.

4. I'm obsessed with I Love Lucy. I have the complete series on dvd and I watch it all the time. I want to dye my hair red and wear curlers and cute little bandanas all the time!

5. I have concrete in my elbow. I think I was in 8th grade and I was walking to the basketball courts down the street. I had a water bottle in one hand, bouncing the ball in my other hand, and I had a sleeve of crackers hanging from my mouth. I was walking down this hill and fell on rocks and stuff. I guess I didn't get everything out of the cut, but now when I bend my arm you can see the dark marks where the concrete is.

My Saturday Night

Lately, Sam has been at work a lot, and since I don't have a job I've been at home a lot. So last night Sam got off work at 5 and I spent 2 hours trying to get all cute and pick out a cute little outfit. We went out to a local place that we go to eat at a lot and I had a caesar salad that was really good!

Sam got some kind of chicken something or other. We sat and talked for a while and it was so nice. I almost forgot what quality time was!.

THEN.... We went to go see Inception and I'm not going to spoil anything but it was amazing. It's a mind blowing movie. If you haven't seen it, you have to! But go to see it at a nice movie theater cuz the one that we went to smelled like giraffe piss. UGH!

Today, I'm going to clean up a little bit cuz I've been slacking big time.

I believe that everyone goes through stages, when they want to be in love sooo bad that they can't stop looking for it. But they end up looking in all the wrong places. I'm a firm believer of just sitting back and letting love find you. But when you're letting love find you, you can't be picky! People expect to be swept off their feet right off the bat. You need to allow love to run it's course and develop into something you can't live without. When you're looking for love you're nit-picking every little thing about a person and not truly getting to know them for who they really are and who they really are is what you fall in love with.

So I put in my two weeks on Monday and then I went into work on Tuesday. My boss calls me into her office and says that they don't need me for two weeks and that I can leave. It was very rude and unprofessional but I was sooo happy to just be getting out of there. I got to spend the whole day with my husband yesterday since he was off, so it's been great so far!

I've gotten a few calls about new jobs already but I'm trying to just chill for a little while. I really want me next job to be something that I like doing. But I'm not sure what I'd like to do. So, we'll see how that goes.

I've been complaining about my current job foreverrrr! Today I put in my two week notice!!! I'm sure these will be the longest two weeks ever, but I'll deal with it. I tried to talk to my boss about how I've been feeling about my job and I just didn't like what I heard in response. So it's done.

I could not be any happier. So in a couple weeks I'll be on TEAM HOUSEWIVES, until I find another job.

I've applied to a few different places. I'm excited to start somewhere new and meet new people and learn new things!

Since my husband got his new job he's been working a lot. Well, not a lot but different hours than me on some days and he works weekends which SUCKS! This past weekend I cleaned our entire bedroom. Like I was down on my hands and knees scrubbing the floor. I cleaned cuz I had nothing better to do. He didn't seem to mind it though LOL.

Tonight he's working till 9:30 so I went grocery shopping, went to Target, returned some DVD's to Blockbuster and now I'm writing some blogs, watching some tv, and soon I'll be reading my book and sleeping.

Work has been so stressful the past couple of weeks, but I'm trying to get through it. There's been office drama and new people that are extremely annoying. I'm just soooo happy that tomorrow is Friday. I can't wait to just chill this weekend and not do anything but read and watch movies and tv.

It's the Barnes & Noble's Nook. It's pretty awesome. This is actually what I'm reading Dear John on. I like it a lot. I haven't downloaded a lot of books yet but I plan on doing that after I'm done with the one that I'm reading now. I was thinking about getting the Kindle but I wanted to like touch it and play with it first and since Amazon doesn't have a store and I would be forced to just buy it, I thought I'd go with the Nook instead.

Almost Shit Myself!!!

I forgot to tell you guys about the worst experience of my life on the way to Pittsburgh.

So we left last Friday for Pittsburgh. I picked Sam up from work and we were on our way. About 45 minutes into the ride I got hungry. We stopped at Panera Bread and I had broccoli and cheddar soup, and I knew that would be a mistake! But it was soooo good.

Anyways, we get back in the car and we start going again. About 15 minutes into the ride, my stomach is feeling a little crazy. I really needed to go to the bathroom. We take the exit off the parkway onto Route something-or-other and as soon as we make that exit we're stuck in traffic. I'm freaking out. I thought I was going to shit myself in the car. I was having hot flashes. I was jerking around like an idiot. The traffic started moving, but not fast enough. Finally we see an exit. I take it. There were signs for a community college down the road. I was thinking, "if there's a college there has to be some McDonalds or some sort of fast food place around." We are driving down the road, and I'm looking around and I see nothing but farm land and side roads! We pass the community college and I don't see anything resembling a fast food joint. I couldn't hold it anymore. I pull over on the side of the road, go down the small hill, and behind a bush.

I was on a flat farm land and about 100 yards away from me there was a house with wall to wall windows pointing my direction. I hope no one was watching but I was shitting my brains out! Luckily we keep tissues in the car so I had something to wipe with. I finished up and felt so much better.

I get in the car and my husband says, "your new nickname is fertilizer."

I'm convinced I have the greatest dad ever! We had some rough times in the past but I think we're both starting to accept each other as we are. I let you have your fun and be that over exaggerating dad that loves to brag about his daughters and you let me express myself in ways that I feel I need to. You were always there for me and always on my side, even when mom wasn't and I always treated you like the bad guy. I just recently realized that you're not that mean old guy that I thought you were. You were always just trying to protect me. You were like my flashlight. You let me find my own way in life but you were always there to shine your knowledge and make sure everything was alright before I continued moving forward.

Uncle's Wedding!!!

My uncle Joey's wedding was this passed Saturday and it was sooo much fun! The wedding was outside and it was extremely hot! I thought I was gonna die to be honest. After the sun went down though, the party started!!! Danced, ate, partied. It was a good time.

Bad News!

Sam got a new job so he wouldn't be working from home anymore, so we had to give the puppy away. It was hard and it sucked! But we gave him to a good family who has a son and they lost their dog in February. The boy was really excited to get a puppy, so we were happy for them. I Finally Did It, Everyone!!!

I got a puppy!!!! He's a 9 week old black lab and his name is Ziggy. I got him on Wednesday night. I actually found him on craigslist.com. I've been wanting a puppy for sooo long and black labs are my favorite! I grew up with labs so they hold a very special place in my heart.

The last few nights have been a straight NIGHTMARE though. We're trying to get him to sleep in the cage at night but he cries and is sooo loud and obnoxious. He's definitely getting better at going to the bathroom outside though, which I'm sooo thankful for.

Yesterday was Sam's birthday and he was taking care of Ziggy all day. He hadn't slept at all the night before because he was worried the dog would get up and shit somewhere or chew something up.

As I type this, he just pooped outside!!! So I just want to say thank you craigslist and thank you Tracy!!! (the woman that sold me Ziggy).

Any suggestions on how to train a dog?

I have psoriasis! And let me tell you, it's horrible!

I think I have a pretty mild case and in the last 2 months it has got a lot better. I use to have these scabby looking blotches all over my legs, but now they're gone. When I sweat I get blotches and these little white bumps on my hand and arm. They don't go away for like an hour after my bodys cold down.

It's pretty embarrassing and such a pain in the ass. I'm not sure if the issues when I sweat have anything to do with psoriasis but I don't know what else it could be or how to get rid of it.

If anyone else has psoriasis or eczema or anything like that, let me know what you use as treatments or if you've found a cure :)

I just got done watching this movie finally! My family has been telling me all about it since Christmas. I really liked it and as a blogger, it made me jealous and envious.

As a blogger you want people to like and be interested in what you're writing. You want feedback and followers and all of that! It's easy when your blog is about one thing, like cooking, crafts, music, celeb news, ect. because anyone that reads it is going to be interested in that topic. That's kind of why I started my other blog. Because I wanted to write a blog that has some kind of structure. I know that anyone that is interested in love and love stories will like my new blog. I've given up on this blog because I know that it's all over the place. I say that I'm going to add new features to this blog like a music video of a song that I'm really feeling every week or my weekly fortune cookie, but I can never stick to it.

No One is Exempt From Tragedy

This past weekend a guy that I graduated high school with was killed. I believe it happened late Saturday night. It's always so crazy when someone you know dies, but when they're killed it's even crazier.

But I'm telling you, this couldn't have happened to a nicer guy and family. That's what makes it so sad. Yeah, he might not have been involved with the right group of people but he was a very nice person. You never think something like that could or ever would happen to you, but infact, it could. No one is exempt from tragedy, heart break, or death. It sucks, but it's true.

So on that note, cherish everyone you love, let yourself be happy, and don't waste time being angry over small things that don't matter. Life is too short, and as far as you know, it could be shorter than you think.

I Hate Asking for Help, But...

I've always wanted a half sleeve of tattoos. I'm going to start sketching it up and I have an idea of what I want, but I'm not sure if it's going to work.

I need to find a way to represent months in a kind of simple way. In a way that has nothing to do with birthdays. For example I DON'T want to represent months in the form of birthstone colors, birth month flowers, or zodiac signs. I really want to use flowers but there's no listing of flowers that have a devoted month.

I want to get a half sleeve of flowers that represent months that have a significant meaning to me. But flowers might be out of the question if I can't come up with anything. Flowers are so femanine and I like that.

If anyone has any ideas, I'd really appreciate it.

I got the movie from netflix and it got here today and I'm soooo excited to watch it cuz I haven't seen it in a few years. If you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend it.

Girl Fights!!!

I wish I had a nickle for every time I heard a girl say that she has a lot of guy friends because girls are too dramatic. Like, what is it with us girls that really stops us from having some girlfriends? Is it just our competitiveness? Do we just want to be the best looking and funniest and most desirable?

All through high school I had a couple close girlfriends but not many. When I was in beauty school, that's when I really started getting along with girls because we're all kinda older, and we all had something in common. We all hated drama. But of course there was still drama. There's always going to be drama when there's girls around.

I do know that there are some girls that have a ton of girlfriends. I just don't know many of those kind of girls.

Isn't it so frustrating when you're bending over the sink to brush you're teeth and a drop of toothpaste drops into the sink? It's not even like you can just splash water on it and it rinses away. You have to physically like wipe it off the sink or else it will stay there and dry up and be even nastier to get rid of. UGH!

Screw Blackberrys!!! Don't be offended!!!

I got verizon and a new phone!!! I ordered the Blackberry Tour on Sunday and it got here yesterday! I spent 45 minutes with it. Trying to figure out how to work it, how to move around, how to add contacts. And I gave up. The shit was too complicated. Sam got a Droid (which is idiot proof), and he had everything set up already.

Sooo, to make a long story short, I went to Verizon, returned my Blackberry and got a Droid also. It's awesome! I love it and the apps are great. The bill is going to be insane every month but we'll talk about that when it gets here.

The only thing wrong with it is that the battery doesn't last very long. But I usually carry my chargers around with me anyway.

Anyone else have a Droid? Any stories? LOL

After my last tanning experience at Sun Bum Tanning, I went to a Hollywood Tans and tried them out last week. I walk in and she's telling me all about the beds and stuff. I can tell that their beds weren't going to be as strong as the last place so I went with the second highest bed again. The receptionist then says to me, "Well the maximum time for that bed is 10 minutes but I think you should go in for only 5 minutes because you're really, really white." Then she starts giggling.

PAUSE

Like I know that you're super young and you can tell that I'm young too but that doesn't mean that you can joke around with me, especially about my paleness. I wanted to be like, "yeah bitch, I'm really really white, and you're really, really ORANGE! So what? Gimme the full 10 minutes!"

But instead I was like, "Umm gimme 7 minutes," and walked away. I should have went in for 10 minutes cuz their beds absolutely suck! And their beds are all stand up and I feel like I'm in a small submarine. It's really weird.

But yeah, I hate when people try to joke with me just cuz we're around the same age and they assume I have a sense of humor.

The Reason I Didn't Blog Last Night!!!

I was making my mom this really awesome Mother's Day card!!! I had a bunch of magazines and paper from scrapbooking so I decided to make her a card myself!.. If you haven't got your mom anything I suggest you make a home made card. I wrote a really heart felt letter inside and I know my mom is going to cry when she reads it.

I had to pay $17.00 to send it FedEx though, cuz it was too late to send it through regular mail. As soon as I got finished with my card, the following text was sent to my two younger sisters:

"I just got done making mom the most amazing Mother's Day card, so you better step your game up this year, cuz Halmark ain't gonna cut it sistazzz!!!"

I got a response back from Rachel who is 14. She said that she's painting her a card! I laughed out loud when I read it. I can't wait to see my sisters at the end of the month!!!

Can't Stand The Heat, Get OUT The Kitchen!!!

So this passed weekend we had the first of many Holy Communion parties to go to. It was a good time though. Got to see a lot of Sam's family. It was soooo freakin' hot outside though.

Me + Heat = no good!!! Thats why I'm so pale. I can't stand to sit out in the hot ass weather.

I think that every weekend in May is taken over by some thing or another. It's insane! Next weekend we have Sam's nephew's communion party. The weekend after that Sam's mom's sister is coming in from Guyana and driving up from D.C. I think the weekend after that there isn't anything going on. We'll probably celebrate Sam's birthday that weekend since we'll be in Pittsburgh the weekend after that.

It was sooo hard getting up this morning and getting ready for work. I didn't think I was going to make it. But tomorrow is Tuesday, we'll see what kinda day it brings.

I Might Be Getting a Puppy!!!

It's actually a dog that my parents just recently got. They named it Flurry but I like to call it McFlurry. They said it's been chewing up my dad's shoes so if we want it we can have it. I haven't got to meet McFlurry yet but when I do I'll make the decision if I want to take him or not. He's soooo cute so I'll most likely definitely want it.

I've grown up and almost always had a dog, so it's weird to not have one. Sam and I went to Petco today and they have some Kitty Adoption program. I'm allergic to cats but they are sooo cute and I was thinking I'd just take some kinda allergy medicine everyday. LOLLL

I love it! I just started using it at work today, mainly because I just now figured out how to use my computer speakers. It's amazing and I have like 10 different stations.
